Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Roadster is one of 762 finished in Estoril Blue over Estoril Blue and Black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. It was purchased by its current owner in November 2021, and work since that time has included installing a Randy Forbes subframe reinforcement kit and replacing the water pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, engine mounts, spark plugs, and tires. The car is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, a blue convertible soft top, heated sport seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. This M Roadster has 55k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, a shop manual, service records, spare parts, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title.

The body is finish in Estoril Blue, and features include a power-operated blue convertible soft top, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. Photos detailing finish imperfections are included in the gallery.

Silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires, which were fitted in October 2021. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. Stainless steel brake lines were fitted in Jun 2022, and a power steering fluid line and bushings were replaced at that time.

The cabin features Estoril Blue and black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include roll hoops, cruise control, a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, and WeatherTech floor mats. A leather armrest has been added to the center console, and a Red Eye Garage dead pedal cover has been fitted. The air conditioning system was recharged in June 2022. Wear is evident on the driver-seat bolster.

The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 55k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Work in June 2022 included replacing the water pump, water pump pulley, thermostat, valve cover gasket, camshaft solenoid gasket, coolant expansion tank, radiator fan clutch, left muffler hanging bracket, engine mounts, spark plugs, and upper and lower radiator hoses.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A Randy Forbes subframe reinforcement kit was fitted in June 2022.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with spare parts, a car cover, a parade boot, and partial service records.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.

We last saw this roadster for sale back in December. The highlight is the Randy Forbes kit, but it's in nice overall shape and mostly stock. Bidding up to $6,000.00 so far
