I custom ordered this BMW M Roadster from the factory in 1999 and we've had an awesome relationship ever sense. In 2000, I added 100hp of performance with a Dinan Supercharger, which was installed by a BMW dealership that was a Dinan partner. This made the car so much fun to drive, as the supercharger blends the extra power smoothly. This car has never been tracked, it's job was to make me smile through curves, especially during trips to the Blue Ridge mountains.
Over my 26 years and 133,000 mi of ownership, it's always been garaged and pampered very well. It was my daily driver until 2012, but since then it's only been used for fun.
Engine Condition: Starts quick and runs strong. The car has been meticulously maintained over the years. Over the last 13 years, I've replaced the motor mounts, A/C compressor, radiator and clutch...so it's ready for many new miles.
Exterior Condition: Paint, handles, trim are close to like-new condition. Convertible top material and window replaced in 2014. Tire are Michelin Sports and have 7K miles on them. Car has been backed into twice in a parking lot over its lifetime, which caused minor damage, but required paint work. On the last fender bender, I paid extra to have the front end repainted to remove all road chips, so the paint is in great shape.
Interior Condition: Great...leather seats, power top, stereo and gauges work fine.
Issues to Note:
Airbag light is on. Over past 5y, the driver's seatbelt actuator has been replaced twice due to faults...not sure what the current problem is.
Why Buy This Car? It's lots of fun to drive, it's in great shape, and it looks great. The Boston Green color is unique, as most M Roadsters are red or blue.
The car is Florida titled and registered.
