Seller Description

1998 BMW Z3M Roadster. Body is still BMW. Still has all creature comforts and is street legal. This car is built from front to back. Engine is a 2.8 cast block with 3.2 crank and rods. Wiesco custom turbo pistons. Engine was built and tuned at race shop in Atlanta. Back dated s50 intake for better flow, blow through maf, Garrett GT35R turbo, all new plumbing, large intercooler with blow off valve, Greddy boost controller, Tial open waste gate, E46 six speed conversion, fresh diff and axles, custom bracing through out car, SCCA legal roll bar which has been legal at every track I've been to, harness bar, 5 point harness driver side with Momo seat, custom widened Roadstars with 315 35 17's on the rear and 235 45 17's on front. Porsche 993 Turbo brakes on front with custom hats and 996 C2 Porsche brakes on rear. Have extra SSR 18's with new Hoosier slicks and other extra parts. Recent wheel bearings all 4 corners, custom in house front splitter and rear wing. I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton. I've been tracking this car for ten years. Everything stays fresh. 5 weekends of DE on engine. Have not been back to the track since last tune and dyno runs. It made 454 RWHP at 15 pounds of boost and 510 RWHP at 19 pounds of boost. On track, I have never needed more than 15. Check out photo's and video. Car is for sale locally so add could end early. A lot of performance at this price point. No racing, just DE, drivers education, I run in the advanced group and instruct.  https://youtu.be/Jo0jENNVkNk

Previous Listing:
Car is very nice considering age and the fact it's been on track. Engine is 2.5 liter cast block with 3.2 liter crank. Rods are VAC motorsports custom H beam with wiesco forged turbo pistons. Cams are Vac motorsports aggressive turbo grinds. Turbo is Garrett T3 T4 ball bearing. Large intercooler with blow through mass air flow meter. Backdated to S 50 intake for higher flow and better idle control valve mount. Light weight flywheel and custom clutch. Transmission is E 46 six speed. Has dual pass aluminum racing radiator and oil cooler with Rally Road oil cooler cap. Has Roll bar, X brace, custom strong strut, and rear shock tower to differential mount custom brace for unibody strengthening. Car has 993 turbo Porsche front brakes and 996 C2 Carrera rear brakes. Front rotors are 993 Turbo Porsche on custom hats and rear rotors are BMW Turner motorsports cross drilled . Wheels are BMW road stars widened to 11 inches rear and 9 inches front. Car has TRM data logger with cable to download tunes from TRM via internet. Car is 428 RWH at a very conservative 12 pounds of boost. It has a Greddy boost controller with gain, low boost, and high boost settings. Suspension in KSport dual adjustable coilovers with 600 pound springs in rear and 487 pound in the front. Dinan front strut brace. Has H&R sway bars. It has adjustable rear control arm mounts with race bushings. Bushings are noisy. The car has several custom one off pieces like the front splitter, the rear wing, fan shroud, etc. This car is well maintained. Everything is current. I don't let anything wear out before I replace it. It still has all the creature comforts such as air conditioning, CD changer, heated seats, power windows and locks etc. This car is loud, rough, stiff, and a handful to drive. This car is FAST at 12 pounds. HP can be greatly increased by the simple twist of a knob. I don't know HP numbers past 12 pounds because the engine was brand new at the time it was on the dyno. Long block has break in miles and one track weekend at Road Atlanta on it. High performance driving experience is a must. I will not sell to a teenager that thinks they can drive or an immature adult. I will consider partial trades if you have something I need. I'm building a LS6 powered 951 Porsche track car. It doesn't have door windows so I will eventually need a light weight enclosed trailer, a truck to pull it with, or maybe a E39 M5 with low miles ???? I also have an extra set of widened Road Stars, a new set of Nitto NT1's, a set of 18 inch SSR's with race Kumho's with only one 20 minute session on them. I also have a set of sticky street tires for the Road Stars, an extra race diff. And a new hood without vents. auction is for car only. Extras can be negotiated. Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Seems like a pretty crazy build. The custom touches like the rear spoiler and rear shock tour brace are things I've never seen before.
