2001 BMW M Roadster in Black Sapphire Metallic over Black Nappa
  • Exterior Color Black Sapphire Metallic
  • Interior Color Black Nappa
  • Soft Top Color Black
  • Engine S54

Seller Description

Original engine running strong.  Oil changed every 5k miles.  UUC Motorwerks Flywheel Kit (includes e34 M5 clutch) installed in January 2006 at 45k miles.  No issues.  Car was in a minor accident in August of 2012 which required the replacement of the driver's side door and front quarter panel.  Car was fully repaired by United Collision (Untied BMW's preferred shop) in Duluth, GA via State Farm.  Car also has some rear subframe tearing which can be resolved via a sub-frame repair kit ($2-3k).  The reserve price is lower to reflect this.  The exterior and interior of the car are in very good condition - especially for being an older vehicle.  This is a good chance to pick up an M Roadster equipped with an S54 engine for an under-market value.  Be ready for Spring in a fast little BMW.  This car deserves a good home.

Exterior paint is in very good condition. The interior of the car is in near-excellent condition. There are small scratches on the passenger's rear quarter panel. The rear window seal is starting to tear but should be easily replaceable. This car gets a ton of looks and compliments - definitely one of its best features.

Seller is asking $15k for it on Bimmerforums which is probably fair. Just know what you're getting into.

Not sure what the reserve price is, but it shouldn't be too much higher with a known subframe issue. I wish the seller would have included photos of the driver's side where the accident was.
