Seller Description

Personally, I love my M-Roadster! I'm sad to see it go, BUT I'm getting married this year and need to pay for the Wedding. A very happy and exciting new chapter to my life, but sadly this means this Toy has to go.

This 2000 BMW M Roadster is in tip top shape, it has been well kept with only 68k miles on it. There were two previous owners to this vehicle before I purchased the vehicle down in Pasadena, TX. The dealer I purchased this vehicle from had it Car Fax Certified. This car has NEVER seen a Winter and barely has ever experienced Rain (when I could avoid it)! My M-Roadster was purchased in April of 2009, so I have enjoyed this vehicle for 5 years. When I purchased this vehicle it only had 44,128 miles on it, if you do the math, that means I averaged 4.7k miles/yr while cruising through the Spring and Summer months in Michigan. Every year I would take this car down to the Tail of the Dragon with my fellow car Geeks and take it through the beautiful mountainous sights, a highly recommended trip to take if you purchase this vehicle (or any convertible).

During the Winter months this vehicle was stored in a warm garage, fuel stabilized, engine cylinders were fogged, battery tender was installed, moth balls surrounded the vehicle and the vehicle tires rested on 1" foam blocks with over inflated tire pressures to prevent flat spotting. Before this vehicle would go into Winter Storage it would get fresh oil change, a thorough inside and out cleaning, followed by a fresh clay bar and Carnauba wax job.

I really have great love for this car, so I made sure take meticulous care of it.

I have saved all repair records, since I've owned this vehicle and kept a hand written oil change log, as I changed the oil myself on this car (I do not trust my baby to those quick lube places near where I live). In fact, I change the oil myself for all my cars.

This vehicle has had the following updates, since I first purchased it:
• Brake Bleed and Fluid Replacement (@49,000)
• Universal Joint Replacement (@49,000 miles)
• Seat Bushing Replacement (@50,300)
• Front Control Arms and Bushing Replacement (@50,364 miles)
• Complete 26 point inspection (@62,366 miles)
• New Radiator Cap (@62,366 miles)
• New Front & Rear Brake Pads, Rotors and Brake Pad Sensors (@62,451 miles)
• New Bilstein Struts and Shocks (@65,504 miles)
• New H&R Springs (@65,504 miles)
• New Suspension Mounts (@65,504 miles)

I had the sound system upgraded by a professional installer (a good friend of mine). I was 100% part of the installation to make certain nothing was damaged during the installation. I had him run all new wiring throughout the vehicle so that we did not have to cut into any of the factory wiring. The Harman Kardon sound system that came from the factory on the M Roadster is horrible (google the reviews for yourself). With the top down wind noise, it was a challenge to hear anything. This is why I upgraded to the following when I first got this car:

• Kenwood KDC-X993 Radio (Includes: HD Radio, Bluetooth Phone, Sat. Radio, etc.)
• JL Audio HD 900/5 (5-channel car amplifier -- 100 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms + 500 watts RMS x 1)
• Integral Audio Model 80S enclosure with Alumapro Alusonic EX 8 Subwoofer
• Alpine Speakers behind the seat and in the doors.

I can provide the Factory amplifiers, sub-woofer cover and head unit should you want to bring this vehicle back to stock (But you wont need it). This is why I made sure not to cut into any of the factory wiring.

Other than the sound system and new suspension, this vehicle is completely stock.

This car will not need any work/updates done on it for a long time!

I'm asking $16,500 O.B.O for my 2000 BMW M Roadster.

Please only contact me if you have serious interest in this vehicle. I'm hoping to sell this car fast, since the wedding date is getting closer and closer!

Come see it, fall in love with it (as I have) and make me an offer.

Thank you for your interest.

It sounds like it's been very well cared for. All the recent maintenance and upgrades are a big plus. I think the price is fair.
