Seller Description

This M Roadster is truly a classic roadster, with lots of power under the curve and precision handling to match. The mileage on this M is ridiculously low for its age. It also features the super torquey S52 engine. No mechanical flaws or anything like that. If you know anything about these cars, you will appreciate the very low mileage. It drives smooth as silk and the power delivery is strong and linear. The clutch is in great condition as well.

Get this ultra rare, pristine roadster in time to enjoy the Spring and Summer!

Exterior Condition

The exterior metal is beautiful and has no scratches or dent anywhere. Not even small ones. It's smooth and flowing with a deep gloss. The front bumper may have a couple slight scuffs, but they are not visible in photos. That's just your normal wear, and it is not exceptional at all. The color beneath is white, so it is barely visible.

The convertible rag top has no creases and shows almost no wear. This is a valuable asset on a vintage roadster. The top is power retractable and works wonderfully.

The rims and tires are in like new condition as you can see from the picture. They are straight as well, had them fitted with new Conti Extremes and rebalanced on the Hunter GSP 9700 at American Tire in Princeton

The under-body of the car is pristine. There is no rust, anywhere. The car was never driven in the rain or snow, or anything like that. This is a roadster and only came out on +70F days.

Interior Condition

All of the interior is in wonderful condition. The mats are new as well. The only issue is that the center cup holder is broken, but this a known problem with cars. I will include the main leather holder if you want to snap it back in and fix it. Or, you can pick a new one up at RoadsterSolutions dot com.

The seats have minimal creases and everything looks great. Remember, the mileage is low.

Extras

You can see from the pictures, the chrome roll hoops are mounted. These are an original BMW/Dinan part and will come with the car. They make the car look really classy. Little touches like that are forgotten on many roadsters of today. Also, the soft top cover (which goes over the retracted top) will be included. Additionally, I will include the original normal black roll hoops should you desire to make it boring looking.

It includes both sets of keys, including the trainer and valet key.

Thanks for viewing!

Previous Listing:
I've got a perfect collector quality M Roadster. This thing has been "restored" by me - personally. I'm not a novice when it comes to any of the older BMWs, including E34 through E46. It has fresh fluids and has been serviced and is up to date. All BMW updates were performed by me, including the transmission shift pin updates. No slop in any of the shifter actuation and all suspension bushings are tight. The struts and springs are also good - no leaks/cracks.

This car only has 50K ish on it right now, probably less actually. It shifts crisp and strong. This features the rare S52 engine which has a great deal of torque. Original rims, original everything.

If you're like me, you hate electronic intervention. This car has none, except for ABS. No TCS or anything stupid like that to be "defeated". Low and visceral unlike the newer roadsters (really just the Miata). Also a better platform for building big power and maintaining handling neutrality if that's your thing.

Bone stock, showroom style, except the head unit. It has every option from the factory as well. Even includes the soft-top cover which is stowed in the back.

If you're a serious BMW lover, shoot me an email and we'll talk. I've got other BMWs and can get it if you want it.

Price up a little to $20,995 from $19,970 and mileage down somehow to 32k from 40k...

Back on the market with a couple better photos. Mileage now listed at 40k rather than 50k. Price is still $20k.

All the recent maintenance is a big plus. The price is pretty optimistic for the color combo though and it needs some interior photos.
