Seller Description

This is a late 1999 BMW M Roadster. It's in fantastic shape and you're welcome to come take a look at it whenever you'd like.

I bought this car because I wanted a car that'd handle better than a Miata and also wouldn't look quite as ... Miata-y. It's super low to the ground and it handles like a go-kart. This is an INCREDIBLY fun car. I've added a few modifications to get the power up to more along the lines of where I feel it should be, and also ones to improve handling/feel/comfort.

Remember how everyone laments that 97-02 seemed to be the last years where BMW M was just making full-blown race cars? The e36 & e46 M3, the e39 M5... This is a true all-out BMW sports car. And you'll know EXACTLY what I mean if you come drive this. It's PERFECT. It handles better than everything I've ever driven with the exception of a 458 (but that's not really fair...)

This car also comes with the FULL AC Schnitzer Type II Race kit for the BMW M Roadster: this kit was $5799 new from AC Schnitzer, and comes with 4 forged AC Schnitzer Type II Race wheels, the AC Schnitzer catback exhaust, and various AC Schnitzer interior pieces (pedals, e-brake handle, etc)

S52 engine in fantastic shape, burns zero oil. 5-speed manual transmission has ZERO grinds. ASC has not been deleted, since I know some of you like having ASC, at least as an option. Comes with cruise control, AC, heated seats.

Seems to have been well taken care of. The AC Schnitzer stuff alone can probably account for about half of the price to the right person. I think the price is very fair.
