Seller Description

1998 M Roadster

Has a little over 80,000 on the clock
S52 M3 engine with a 5 speed
Clean title
everything on it works from the seat warmers to the convertble top to the power windows.
I do most all maintenance myself.
Here is a list of things done to it:
New rear tires
New battery
New rear shocks (Bilstein)
New Stewart Racing water pump
Aluminum radiator
Switched to Mishimoto electric fan
Stage 2 Vanos upgrade
New thermostat
New lower engine mount bracket
Adjustable rear camber kit
There is more and i have receipts for it all

All this stuff is totally road legal and will pass smog effortlessly.

Change oil every 4000 with mobil 1 synthetic only. Has K&N drop in pan filter. Body is in great shape as you can see from the pics. Have a car cover, conv. Top cover and a few extra factory goodies.

The car is amazing to drive. Handles like a miata and is as strong as an M3. Come see it for yourself. If you have any questions call or text me

Previous Listing:
Selling my baby. She is a 1998 M roadster with 79xxx miles. Clean title, passes smog flawlessly, current registration and more receipts and documents on the car than i can count. I meticulously maintained records of everything done on this car, as did the previous owner.

It has the s52 motor from the e36 m3 paired with a stiff light chassis. Driving this car is amazing and i wish i didnt have to sell it. The 5 speed is smooth and hasnt given me any problems whatsoever.

I have put lots of hard work and money into this car and she's running strong. Everything that i have had to replace has either been OEM or a slight upgrade:
Stage 2 vanos upgrade
Racing water pump
Aluminum radiator (used only bmw fluids)
New battery and tires last month
New motor mount bracket
New rear shocks
Switched from mechanical to electrical fan
New AC belt
New hardened racing timing chain and cam gears
All of this and more im forgetting has been done withing the past 8 or 9 months so there is lots of life left to all of this.

I use nothing but chevron premium gas and mobil1 synthetic oil changed ever 4000 miles. It used to be every 3000 but i dont drive it very hard and i found every time i changed it, the oil still had lots of life left. It has never been to a track day or drifted or any of that trash. She is a good PCH cruiser and i like keeping it that way.

The soft top has some small abrasions but is still solid and has no leaks at all. It really isnt a noticeable thing on it, but it is there. It is solid and fully functional.

The body is in great shape for being over 15 years old. It has a few tiny scrtches here and there and i know every one of them. But as you can see from the pictures the paint and body are fantastic.
The interior is in good shape as well. The deiver seat has a little wear but it is still firm and feels good. One bad thing about the inside is the driver seat bushing is broken so it slides about an inch forward and back sometimes, it is a really common problem with these cars and a $15 fix. I have just been so used to it because the same thing happened on the other z3 i used to own. It doesnt bother me but it is a cheap fix if you want to do it.

This car is beautiful and you have to see it for yourself. If you are serious then we will go for a spin and you will fall in love with this car just like i did. I got a new job amd it requires me to bring lots of equipment with me so trust me...if it was any more practical i wouldnt be selling it.
If you want the nible handling of a miata and the power of an M3.. this car is perfect.
Any questions for info or more pics or anything, shoot me a text or call. Text is easier for me, but if you call, i will do my best to call you back. $14000

Also i have an extra set of rims, a car cover, a convertable cover and a few other little things for it.

Looks cleaner than when we last saw it about 1.5 years ago. Quite a bit of recent maintenance done too. The price seems fair.
