Seller Description

BMW M Roadster, 1998, just turned 40,000 miles. Imola Red with Black Leather and black power soft top, Heated seats, Air, PS, PB, Harman Kardon sound w/6 CD changer, BMW wing and Stainless Steel Roll Bars. Also include NOAH BMW car cover for storage.

Synthetic oil change at Anderson BMW in Crystal Lake June 20, 2015.

The tires are OEM Dunlop SP Sport 8080E 225/45 ZR17 fronts and 245/40 ZR17 rears. Theses were replaced at around 31-32K so I know they have less than 10K miles on them. and ALL the tires have between 7-8/32 tread depth.

I have owned the car for the last 14 year. I purchased the car used in 2001 from a new car dealer. There are some minor paint chips from stones on the hood and lower front air dam, etc. and some minor curb rash on a couple of wheels as would be normal for the mileage. The top is original as far as I know, and when I purchased the car in 2001 the canvas top had a small repair near the drivers door window.

If your considering a used Porsche Boxster, Mercedes SLK, Audi TT, BMW Z3 or Z4 then you owe it to yourself to check out the M roadster and read the Hemmings Sport & Exotic Car January 2015 Buyers Guide article.

This car is a blast to drive and I hate to sell it, but I have downsized and there will not be enough room or garage stalls at my new location.

It loosk pretty good overall. The most obvious modifications are the OEM rear wing, painted brake calipers, and 2000+ style front kidney grills. Th eprice seems very fair.
