Seller Description

2000 BMW M Roadster, Titanium Silver with Imola Red and black interior. 5-speed manual. Car is in great condition. The body and interior are in excellent condition. It runs great, and drives like the thoroughbred sports car that it is. It has always been garaged and has been maintained since new by Sandia BMW, Santa Fe BMW and local Albuquerque BMW and Porsche specialists. Car come with all maintenance receipts.

The Titanium Silver paint is in very nice condition throughout. The hood and front bumper were recently repainted due to rock chips and curb rash. The quality is excellent. On the rest of the car, there are minor paint chips and one or two very minor door dings. The Carfax does show two accidents in the car's history, but neither one was serious enough to cause any structural damage or airbags to deploy. According to the Carfax, this vehicle is worth $1970 above the Blue Book value.

The factory wheels are in nice condition with good clearcoat. Both of the rear wheels have some some curb rash on the rims. The cloth top is in perfect condition with no tears and a clear rear window with good stitching. The automatic convertible top works correctly without any issues.

Interior:
The Imola Red and Black leather interior is in excellent condition throughout and has very special look and feel to it thanks to the quality materials and design. All switch gear, gauges and handles work correctly. The drivers side seat shows minimal wear on the outer bolster.

Mechanicals:
The inline, 6-cylinder, S52 motor is an excellent powerplant and this engine has been well maintained with regular oil changes. It produces plenty of torque at low RPMs and has a wonderful powerband as it moves up to redline. The clutch was recently replaced and the gearbox shifts very well, with the firm, tight shift action.

Upgrades:
This M Roadster benefits from an ECU reflash for a slight bump in power that was performed by the BMW dealer as well as yellow adjustable Koni shocks.

Overall, this is a great example of a future classic BMW. It is a blast to drive, feels special, and looks great. It is in very good mechanical condition and has been well cared for by the previous owners and has been sympathetically driven. It comes with a full factory tool kit, top cover, records, owner's manuals, and two keys and fobs as well as all service records. It is ready to go for the next owner. Now priced at $11,900 on Craigslist which is probably fair

It looks pretty good, and I like the color combo. No mileage is listed, but based on AutoCheck, it probably has at least 110,000. AutoCheck also shows an accident reported in March 2012.
