Up for auction is my father's mint condition 1998 M-Roadster. If you are looking at this ad, you already know what an incredible work of engineering marvel this car is, and how rare...only 10,501 were produced for both European and North American markets between 1998 and 2002, of which only 2,763 were in 1998. Less than 1,000 were ever made with this color combo, and in my opinion, it is by far the best.
That all being said, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer one out there!

My dad is the 2nd owner, and to say he is meticulous is an understatement. The first owner was a tech at our local BMW dealership. You could eat off of every inch of this car, and it surely is as perfect as a 20 year old car can be. It looks as good as the day it rolled off the showroom floor, with very little signs of any use. Leather is supple and still smells new. Paint shines brilliantly. No scratches, dings or swirl marks. Barely even a rock chip can be found without help from a magnifying glass. It has been waxed a million times, and sits covered in a heated garage most days. After stretching her legs and taking a leisurely cruise on occasional sunny afternoons, she is again washed top to bottom, waxed and detailed, and placed back under her blanket. The car is so close to perfect, that he recently replaced the shift knob with a factory replacement, because it was literally the only thing that looked even slightly worn!

Only 45,251 miles. Clean title in hand. All manuals, and all BMW certified routine-scheduled maintenance paperwork provided. All fluids recently changed with synthetic by certified BMW technician. Tires at 90%. Brakes at 90%. Clutch is mint. Frame, door-jams, trunk lid, engine bay are all flawless.
Convertible top is a 9 out of 10, only small issue is the stitching around the rear window is not perfect..but the top is down 99% of the time, so who cares? :)
A few tasteful aftermarket accessories have been added including:

Scorpion dual exhaust - Sounds perfect, not too loud, but has a good tone
Cold air intake - K&N system, improved air flow
Performance chip - Conforti Shark Injector electronic tuner...proposed to boost HP & torque, provide better fuel economy and remove the rev limiter
Performance Anti-swaybar brace - Shock tower mount
Everything else is stock and solid as a rock.
