This 2000 BMW M Roadster is a 60k-mile example finished in Imola Red paint with a Classic Red top over two-tone black and red leather interior. The car has spent its life in the Southwest and was driven regularly but sparingly before its acquisition seven months ago by the seller. Approximately 1,000 miles have been added since and the car was serviced in the fall of 2016 with a full fluid change, front brake work and new Continental rubber. A stock appearance is maintained with a factory CD player and triple gauges mounted in the center stack. The 3.2-liter S52 twincam inline six features VANOS variable valve timing and was originally rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb. ft of torque for the US market. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF 5-speed manual transmission and standard limited slip differential. The engine bay shows few variations from stock aside from a decal denoting a K&N air filter. The October service included a full fluid change along with replacement of the front brake pads and rotors, and the Bosch battery is two years old.
