I have for sale an Astoria Blue BMW M Roadster. This car has had approximately $7500 in maintenance, repairs, and upgrades performed in the last year, and is now just a little bit away from being a showroom car. The car has 133xxx miles on it and still runs like a German alarm clock. In the past year it has had:
-New brakes (including new slotted and drilled rotors)
-New tires (less than 3000 miles on the front and less than 1000 on the rear)
-New battery
-New Bilstein shocks all around
-Dinan CAI
-Dinan Stage 2 chip
-New exhaust
-The common issue with these cars, the welds breaking loose above the differential from the massive amount of torque that they put out has been permanently fixed with full seam welds across all of the sheet metal and the addition of an extra rear differential mount to keep it stable
-Brand new BLUE German top
-All new emblems
-New transmission
-New clutch
-New pressure plate
-New flywheel
-New clutch master and slave
-Bavarian Autosport performance coil packs all around
-New headlights
-New taillights
-New side markers
-New Polk speakers
I am sure that I am leaving some things out, but the gist is that pretty much everything on the car has been renewed. Now, there are still a few issues that I haven't gotten to, and unfortunately I don't have the time to play with it anymore. Whats left:
-Needs to have the little plastic clips that hold the seat belts on the seat so that they are within easy reach replaced.
-Needs a shift selector rod (about $75 and a half hour fix)
-Probably needs new switches for the power seats... they usually work, but I have noticed them not responding properly (another cheap fix)
These cars are getting harder to find, and the prices on them just keep going up. I know that I am probably going to kick myself for selling this two years from now, but in the moment I don't have the time to finish it and I need the space in the garage (wife wants her parking place back.) The car runs and drives great... its just time for it to find a new home unfortunately.
UPDATE: I have had a few people ask (I guess because I am selling it so low) about the title. I have a CLEAN NC title for this car. NO BRANDS (SALVAGE/REBUILT etc.) So in response to all of the title questions... YES, it is a clean and clear title.
