Up for sale is my 1998 BMW M Roadster. I am the third owner, and purchased the unit in September 2009 with 41,190 miles from the second owner who put approx 7000 miles on it. The car has been garage kept all of it's life as verified by myself and the previous owners. The car started it's life in California, then moved to Maryland where I purchased it. It has not had an emission inspection since 30,000 miles as it is not required where I live but I am fairly sure it would pass with no issue. The history report does show a lien on the car as I just paid it off in February of this year so I am sure the records have not been updated but I can assure you I have a clean clear title.While I have had it, I kept it in my garage with the cover on it. Paint is very clean but does have some road rash on the front bumper and hood. There are a couple of scuffs on the lower front air dam, I am sure from catching a curb, nothing severe but typical for a black car that has been driven for 45000 miles. The rest of the body is in excellent condition and I have tried to take pictures as close to the body as possible so you can see that. The doors do have a couple of paint chips as well as the rear of the rocker panels. The wheels are in good shape but do have a few scratches and blemishes from driving. I want to be as honest as I can so there are no surprises. Interior is in excellent condition, slight wear on the left side driver bolster from getting in and out of the car, otherwise seats, dash and door panels are like new. All gauges, controls, work properly. Cassette deck works fine as well as having a multi disc CD player in the trunk. No known mechanical issues and drives fantastic with all controls and steering very tight. Clutch is excellent and shifts very smooth. Engine compartment as you can see from my pictures has been well taken care of by myself and the previous owners. Tires are Michelin Sport A/S and were installed new at 38000 miles, I just had the oil changed at 45000 miles with Mobil 1 and had a complete check over at the local BMW dealer. Car has a current Va. state inspection as of November 2011 and is good until November 2012. This has just been a toy for me to play with on nice days but now I am looking for something else as I get the bug to switch every couple of years. Whoever buys this car will not be disappointed, as you can see from my other listings, I am very accurate and honest with my descriptions.
