Seller Description

$11.5k w/ Hard Top (Hard tops are very difficult to find and usually run $1500+ for a factory hard top. Aftermarket are even more expensive and don't fit quite right.) The car will also come with lots of extras. It will come with the $75 BMW Service manual for this car. Allows you to do most repairs yourself. It comes with the Airbag reset tool. It will come with a set of new struts/shocks to replace the factory set IF YOU WANT TO. If not, you can re-sell them for 600 to 1000 bucks for some extra cash. It will come with a 2nd set of Wheels. Originally when I bought this car, I intended to race it. The stock wheels have some road rash so I bought a very nice set of stock wheels off of a newer Z3 that are in perfect condition for town driving. They are boxed and will come with the car. I spent $600 on this set of wheels. They are the Shadow Chrome Roadstars from the 2001 and newer Z3's. They look exactly like the stock wheels on the car (and same sizes) except they have a slightly gray sheen to the chrome instead of bright silver chrome. I have attached a pic of the 2nd set of wheels.
Car will also come with all brand new floor mats, not even used yet. Car will come with a full set of custom Z3 luggage that fits the trunk perfectly with no wasted space for those road trips. This set is around $150 online.

Information on the 2nd set of wheels.

Car has a perfect carfax report. No accidents ever and ZERO rust anywhere.

My mother died in January and I take care of my Dad full-time now. It has changed a lot of my plans and I just don't have time for the car any longer.

This is a beautiful car! The age and mileage on it seem non-existent when you drive it and hear the engine. I think I am the third owner. Only car enthusiasts have ever owned this car and it has been babied and well taken care of. That will be evident when you see/hear it in person.

I would really prefer to sell it to another enthusiast who will take care of it. This thing easily has another 150k miles left in it. Very excellent engine. When you step on the gas, this little thing will rip your head off. (car has never seen a race track though)

Great Maintenance History Including Sub-Frame Reinforcement and Clutch Done!!!! (Some BMW Z3's had problems with the Sub-Frame cracking under stress from the engine torque. This car had a preventative reinforcement done so there is no chance that can ever occur.)

Honest areas that could use attention:

Suspension refresh (No problems, but like most 10 year old cars could use it)
I have a set of Bilstein sports and H&R sports which will come with the car. These are worth about 600-1000 bucks on their own and will fix up the soft suspension, although the suspension is fine for normal every day driving.

Audio Refresh (fresh h/k kick panel speakers)

Airbag light is on due to driver seat belt receptacle. I purchased a new unit to put in and the tool to reset the airbag light will come with the car. It's very easy to replace. The airbag still works fine it's just the sensor in the seatbelt is fried so it doesn't tell the light to go off.

The temperature knob on the dash broke off and is sitting in the console. Luckily it broke off on the cold setting so you can still use/check the AC in the car. You just can't change it to heat without having the knob replaced. I just haven't gotten around to doing it. It requires you to pull the radio out (easy) so you can reach behind the AC/Heat control panel and install a new assembly for the knob.

When I got the car the Window Guides were worn out and the windows barely went up and down but I replaced these myself as well as the window motors and it all works great now.

It appears it sold at some point because it's now listed by another seller.

It's back on the market after only 6 months. The owner seems to have taken as good of car of it as its previous owners had done. This is a very nicely maintained, higher mileage roadster. The seller is honest with it's areas of need and the hard top and new roadstars are both big plusses.
