This is a beautiful 2000 M-Roadster, powered by the torquey and smooth 3.2L BMW M-Power S52 inline-6 engine with DOHC and 24 valves. 5-speed manual transmission. The M-Roadster is a wide-bodied Z3 with the engine, transmission, brakes, and limited slip rear differential from the M3. In this small, lightweight package, it's a blast to drive and an up-and-coming classic.
This one is in rare and stunning Estoril blue. I've had it the past few years as a third car. I have recently put a new set of Bridgestone Potenza S-04 summer tires on, a new battery, and brand new convertible top of BMW OE canvas. The paint is in good shape (a few superficial blemishes, but not many - very clean for its age). The leather seats are in good shape, there's a little fading on the side bolster of the driver seat, but otherwise it's great. The stereo head unit was replaced by a previous owner with a CD and Bluetooth enabled unit (so it has bluetooth and has been outfitted for bluetooth phone with a microphone installed).
Critically - this car is mechanically stock. No one has messed with it - no bad performance modifications or anything else to degrade its quality.
The car drives incredibly. The S52 is super torquey - and delivers a sub-5 second 0-60. Handles like a go-kart with its wide body, M-suspension, and light weight. The brakes are from the larger, heavier M3, and perform incredibly. It's an awesome driving machine - sounds incredible with its deep straight six growl.
I'm selling mine because our kid is due in six weeks, and need to sell in order to get an awful crossover to carry around baby stuff. Important to find the car a good home who will take good care of her.
