Seller Description

Arctic Silver exterior, Imola Red interior
VIN: WBSCK9338WLC87771

I purchased this car in 2000 from the second owner with less than 12,000 miles. It's been garage kept in Olympia, WA, and owner maintained ever since. The vehicle is accident free. It has a clear title.

Exterior - The original paint is still bright and unfaded, with no paint rework. Defects are noted below, and photos attached. All window/door gaskets are intact, soft, and pliable. The car is absolutely rust free. The original canvas top is in excellent condition. A replacement plastic window was installed in 2020.

Interior - The leather is still soft, and there are no cracks or rips. The dash and door upholstery appear as new. All switches, instruments, and controls operate as they should, with the exception of the lighted shift knob, that no longer lights. The original BMW Business cassette stereo has been augmented with a trunk mounted CD changer.

Mechanical - The engine revs strong, and the transmission shifts and runs beautifully, with no bearing or gear whine. Transmission and differential fluids were changed with the appropriate Red Line Lubricants.

Equipment - The vehicle is all original with the exception of the addition of the Cosmo Racing strut brace and Pioneer CD changer. The original BMW M Mobility kit is included (along with its 23 year old tire sealant). Original wheels are shod with older Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires.

Recent Maintenance:
Oil/Filter change (Castrol Edge)
Brake fluid flush
Complete cooling system refresh - radiator, expansion tank, thermostat/housing, hoses, belts, coolant.

Defects (pictures available on request)
Small rock chips on leading edge of hood and bumper
Scrapes on bottom of front spoiler
Dent in lower valence behind right front wheel
Small dimple on front of hood - paint is unbroken
Slight depression on right rear fender
Road rash on both rear wheels
Some small depressions in passenger seat cushion leather from a set cover left on too long. Leather is undamaged - just needs to relax.

The following items are included in the sale.
Original owners manual, Service booklet, and Radio code card.
2 original keys
OEM hard boot cover
Roadster Store soft boot cover
Waterproof car cover
Cockpit cover
Lexan wind deflector
Peake R5 diagnostic and SRS reset tools

Very long time owner and a great color combo. The hard top is a big plus as is all the maintenance done. With the hard top and great history this seems like a pretty decent deal.
