Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Roadster is finished in Estoril Blue over two-tone black and blue leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, 17″ Roadstar wheels, power-adjustable and heated seats, and cruise control. The car was first registered in Tennessee and is said to have remained in the state with its original owner until it was acquired by the selling persons brother in early 2019. This M Roadster has 135k miles, and a clean Carfax report can be presented, and a Tennessee title.

The car is finished in Estoril Blue Metallic (335) and is equipped with a power-operated black convertible top. Exterior features include flared fenders, M-badged front fender vents, and quad chrome exhaust finishers. Close-up photos of the body and trim can be viewed by request. Some body work will need to be corrected to make the the car look good. Some interior features will need to be updated as well.

Five-spoke 17″ M Roadstar wheels wear staggered-width Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. Tires added on 7/20/2017 with odometer at 132,066 approx. 3k miles put on the tires, practically brand new.  Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The cabin features power-adjustable and heated seats upholstered in blue and black Nappa leather along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel. Equipment includes dual roll hoops, air conditioning, Kenwood CD player, and cruise control. The right-side seatbelt guide is missing among other missing items that can be purchased at a low cost.  The stereo speakers is recommended replacement.

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, an M-branded tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An analog clock and additional gauges for battery voltage and oil temperature are located in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 135k miles.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six is equipped with variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Service records from September 2021 show that that various undercarriage items were replaced in preparation for the sale and additional information will be provided shortly. Additional photos of the underside will be taken at request of serious buyers but no rust is visible.

The Carfax report has not been ordered yet if potential buyers wanted to see a record of the history on the vehicle but i can assure no accidents have been reported or even committed to this awesome vehicle. I can also tell you there are no mechanical issues. Flawless IMO. I love driving this car. Total repairs to the exterior body is estimated at $2250.  Repairs to the interior is estimated at $900(New stereo system needed, seats upholstered, and minor little parts need corrected). This vehicle has been in my family since approx. 2002 and has been garage kept the whole time.  I have not been able to make any exterior or interior repairs since i was focused on the mechanics of the vehicle. Approx. $11,500 has been spent since 2018 to keep the car up to excellent condition mechanically speaking.  The only thing you will want to do is correct the body damages and interior condition.

As mentioned it does need some aesthetic TLC on the front bumper and seats. The list of mechanical maintenance is impressive and all good things. The price mya still be a little optimistic for the mileage and aesthetic condition though.
