Seller Description

Doug's Take

The BMW Z3 M Roadster is a fun convertible that boasts timeless styling, a mandatory 5-speed manual transmission, and a great soundtrack from its sporty S52 6-cylinder engine. This particular example touts one of the model's coolest color combinations: an Evergreen interior and exterior! It also shows relatively low mileage and features some great factory equipment – including 17-inch Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, and a Harman/Kardon sound system. Plus, this M Roadster comes with no modifications and a clean, accident-free Carfax report, for added peace of mind. This looks like an amazing M Roadster, and I'm happy to offer it on Cars & Bids.

Highlights

THIS... is a 1999 BMW Z3 M Roadster, finished in Evergreen with a black soft top and an Evergreen and black interior.

  • This Z3 M features a 5-speed manual transmission, and its odometer currently indicates approximately 23,700 miles.
  • The attached Carfax history report shows a gap between 1999 and 2003, though it lists no accidents or mileage discrepancies for the given time period.
  • According to the window sticker provided in the gallery, notable factory equipment includes 17-inch Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, a power-retractable soft top, Nappa leather upholstery, heated sport seats, and a Harman/Kardon sound system. The selling dealer reports no notable modifications.
  • Based on the Z3, the M Roadster made its debut in 1998 with a more powerful engine shared with the E36 M3, a sportier suspension system, and wider wheel arches, among other changes. It was immediately hailed as one of the best driver's cars on the market.
  • Power comes from an S52 3.2-liter straight-6, rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

This evergreen roadster was just at another local dealership. The price is way up and pretty optimistic even with the great color combo and low mileage. The photos look great though and I assume there will be a lot more of them.
