The Z3 M roadster was BMW's gift to enthusiasts, powered with the E36's capable s52 3.2L inline 6 that makes 240hp and equipped with a manual as the only transmission option. Imagine taking an E36 M3 and removing a large portion of weight from the back. Essentially what you have here is a little monster that is docile enough to be driven daily if one chooses. This M roadster is meticulously cared for and features black leather with the traditional "M" stitching on the steering wheel and a brand new illuminated "M" shift knob. At just 90,000 miles, this little roadster has tons of life left in it. Free from the common issues of rattling Vanos units and the original cooling system, you won't have to worry about driving it in a spirited manner. I also recently added Bilstein sport shocks.
Well cared for models are getting harder to come by, especially with a hardtop. The Cosmos Metallic paint shines and shows very light metallic flake. The interior and hardtop are in excellent condition. Compared to the skyrocketing prices of M coupes, the M roadster is still a bargain for nearly half the cost and all of the fun.
17" Roadstar wheels are standard, 9" wheels in the rear wrapped in Toyo Proxes 245/40/17 tires ensures that you have plenty of grip, not to mention an even more aggressive stance to fill out the wide rear arches. To differentiate between a regular z3 roadster is a simple "M" badge on the trunk lid, a quad tipped exhaust which in this case has been upgraded to a Remus catback, and side vents that are slightly different. This roadster is equipped with the cold weather package, Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi stereo and cruise control. Sport seats are standard as well as the BMW business class radio, heated mirrors and cruise control.
Good:
New illuminated Shift knob
painted brakes in cast metallic
serviced
3 stage detail
hardtop
Remus exhaust
under 100k miles
Bilstein sport suspension
soft top is in great shape!
Not so good:
Rear view mirror has the infamous bubble in it. A new one is on order.
I will add more pictures this week. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Pictures of the hardtop will also be added.
You must come see the car and hear it in person to really appreciate how clean it is.
Thanks for looking!
