1998 BMW Z3M roadster cosmos black on black/gray two tone factory interior. clean "drivers quality" car featuring all factory vin stickers, largely unmodified aside from newly installed BR coilovers less than 200 miles ago, factory original suspension is included, also black kidney grilles i have stock ones as well. recent work in the last 300 miles include, replacement of burnt out bulbs in cluster/interior, new roundels, mesh map pocket, new ZHP weighted shift knob, window tract bushings have been replaced re aligned and lubricated. new water pump, intake boot, belts, oil change, coolant flush, air filter, door handle gaskets, antenna gaskets, light switch knob steering wheel roundel, M badges, new in box car cover for z3 included is well, also new M badges for the wheels. just passed PA inspection and emissions. also included is a brand new soft top with window.
as far as i can tell all paint is original, checked with paint meter with exception to the hood and front bumper, which the paint was nice but the prep work was not and there are 2-4 dime to quarter sized chips that i have touched up. clean carfax and autocheck no accidents or any issues reported i believe i am the 5th owner and hold a clear Pennsylvania title in my name. All monitors are set and is currently showing no codes
Rear subframe appears intact no broken welds or seams tearing view from trunk and underside, i can get more detailed and send you specific pictures.
Blemishes that i would prefer to disclose up front:
*Speakers are lackluster but factory tape deck works, and is equipped with bmw 6 disc system
*Side View Mirror bases need to be repainted and have been touched with black paint
*front sunroof seal at window corners meet with top drip, not sure if drain issue or if putting new top on would remedy it
*2 wheels have curb rash i simply repainted them after light sanding as the factory finish was peeling off.
*the dimmer knob is missing from the bottom of the rear view mirror and airbag decal is missing from passenger side door
*usual Z3 seatbelt holders have been removed (NO leather was cut) and black plugs fill the holes currently. all solutions i have seen involved cutting leather or riveting some kind of snap so i just did the plugs.
*passenger seat is inoperative but luckily is stuck is a reasonable position.
