The BMW M Roadster was designed to be the performance version fo the BMW Z3, and there are significant difference between the two. The M Roadster has different front an rear bumpers, grills, rear wing, boot and mirrors. The M Roadster also was beefed up to handle more performance including a larger engine, larger brakes, upgraded suspension, staggered wheels and limited slip differanctial for better handling, a stronger gearbox, the quad exhaust which is a BMW M division signature and produced in limited numbers with only 8,938 examples in North America to ensure it's exclusive membership. The car tasteful upgrades are a short shifter for faster gear shifts and Koni sport suspension to further enhance the suspension that has been higher rated then a Ferrari 360 and the sub-frame has also been reinforced due to it being prone to failure in these cars at the expense of $3800. Upgrades not currently installed are a larger intake manifold and a upgraded 3.72 limited slip differential. The car currently has 147K miles on it and still drives like new. In short this is a fun car to drive that still outperforms most cars on the streets. It's time for me to move on and for someone else to continue the build.
