Seller Description

I'm selling my M Z3. My M drives and rides excellent! The engine is strong, the clutch and transmission is smooth and grabs like it should. The suspension is tight, no noise. When I said this is a drivers car, that is exactly what it is. It's not a show car, but, could be with a little work, and, right now it's a strong 7.5 overall condition!

I will give you a description of known issues, i'm not a body guy or mechanic, but, remember this is a 15 year old vehicle and not perfect, i may miss something, but, it will not be intentional, if you're looking for a show car move on. If i were keeping the car, i would do a few things to it and will share with you those items, thanks for looking, you can call me after reading the entire description, thank you, Raleigh

Exterior * No accidents! The paint all around is smooth to the touch and has a great shine with a mirror finish(check pictures). I changed out the dual exhaust tips to the European style tips. It has a great sound!  The doors, bumpers and body panels are tight. The rubber seals are good. There are a couple paint  touch ups on the drivers side of the front bumper and about a dime size puncture on the rear bumper(check pictures). There is a very light scratch on the rear drivers side rear quarter above the wheel. This is not through the paint but can see with close inspection. The lights work and have no cracks. The rims are in great condition and have no curb rash or dents, scrapes or cracks. The tires ride great and are new with only a few hundred miles on them. The front calipers were just replaced and ceramic brake pads, a couple hundred miles since replaced.

Interior * The leather seats covers are in great condition, the shape of the seats foam have held up nicely and the power options work as they should. The heated seat option works. The seat belt guides are broken. The carpet and M mats are in great condition. The center console is tight, the dash is in great condition. The gauges work as they should. The clock does not work. The previous owner added a push button start feature where the power outlet is, but, it's not working. The power top works and is in good condition. There are a couple areas that have been touched-up, but, that being said, the headliner is in great shape, the rear window is clear and the top is tight and fits great with no issues. There is a custom base speaker between the seats that sounds great. I put in a new deck that is Bluetooth ready and i have used it with my iPhone. The stereo sounds really good and has good power with the additional amps added. It makes a difference when the top is down. I added a clear wind screen. The rear view mirror has been worked on and has some glue showing where it was put back together, but, it works as-is. The A/C and heat vents work as they should.

Driving & Mechanical * Like I previously stated; This is a drivers car! This M drives straight with no vibrations or shaking. The engine runs strong and has no unusual noises. It doesn't smoke or have any leaks. No hesitation through the gears, no overheating, can be driven anywhere without worries! The clutch and transmission grabs like it's supposed to. The suspension is tight, the brakes, calipers, and rotors are good with no issues. I just put new calipers and ceramic brakes on the front last month. This M truly drives fantastic! It is such a HUGE difference driving this M Z3 over driving the Z3 2.8. I should know, I've had both.  You can get in this M right now and enjoy as-is.

What I would do if keeping?  Mechanically, I would hook-up the G-Force chip I just got, just haven't put it on, I will include this with the purchase. I would powder coat wheels with either glossy Black or a brilliant titanium finish.Take care of the seat belt guides, rear view mirror, push button back to power outlet. Other than taking care of any maintenance items that arise, that's it!

I'm going to miss this one, it has been a real pleasure driving it. I need the funds to finish a long time restoration project that's been going on for 2 years. I hope the person that gets this one has the opportunity to enjoy it as much as I have. My wife and I just got back from a nice drive to St. Augustine down A1A along the beach, kind of a last drive, man does it drive awesome, going through the gears...top down, sun shinning, SRV blasting from the speakers, doesn't get much better than that!

give me a call before 10pm eastern if you have any questions, thanks, Raleigh

We've already seen this roadster  6 other times. It never stays in one place long. These photos are much better than those in the previous listing.
